The purpose of the present discussion is drawing the attention of readers that there are other models in literature for pressure drop and heat transfer in air cooled compact wavy-fin heat exchangers. These pressure drop and heat transfer models were introduced by Awad and Muzychka [1] in 2011 using the asymptotic method. The advantage of these pressure drop and heat transfer models is that they have only one fitting parameter. Therefore, calibration of these pressure drop and heat transfer models to experimental data is greatly simplified. The details of this discussion are given below.
